Here at Malvern Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to providing the best care possible for your pets, while maintaining the health and safety of our clients, staff and community. The continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Canada and around the world has understandably raised concerns for us as a global community. We are continuing to monitor the situation, and after careful consideration to reduce the transmission of COVID-19, our staff at Malvern Veterinary Hospital has made the decision to reduce our clinic hours, prioritize emergency patients, and implement social distancing in various ways at the clinic. Details are found below:
Reduced Hours of Operation:
Please note our clinic will only be open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm. If you are inquiring about a non-emergent matter, please send us an e-mail and we will reply as soon as possible. For emergencies, our staff will begin answering the phone at 9 am. We ask that if you have an emergency, please contact the clinic first and book an appointment for that same day. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept walk-in or routine appointments at this time.
Helping us with Social Distancing:
We ask for your help in keeping our hospital a safe environment in the following ways:
- For emergencies: If possible, we ask that only one person accompanies your pet to the clinic. If you have travelled in the last 14 days, are immunocompromised or are sick in any way, we recommend you find someone else to bring your pet in. Please give us a call when you arrive at the clinic and we will take a history over the phone. One of our staff will then be happy to greet you at the door and bring your pet inside.
- Ordering food and medication: E-mail ([email protected]) is preferred for any orders you would like to make for your pet and we will call you back to confirm your order. Please note that due to high order volumes and shortages, our supplier is currently prioritizing essential items such as hospital supplies and medications. Food orders may take longer than usual to be delivered. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
- Picking up food or medication: Please give us a call with your pet’s name and order request prior to arriving and we will have it ready for pick-up as soon as possible. When you arrive to the clinic, give us a call again, and we will bring it over to you at the door.
- Payments: We are currently accepting payment by Debit, Visa or Mastercard. We will not be accepting cash at this time. Payment over the phone is the most preferred method using Visa or Mastercard, however, we still accept debit payments inside if necessary.
